I do not know who did or said that thing about you…
It hurt badly.
It broke something inside you.
It made you doubt yourself
It made you wonder why you are here and though, the words are long since said and forgotten, the effect still haunts you.
You still question yourself and the things you desire.
You wonder if you are worthy.
You wonder if you are enough.
You wonder if there is even a point to your life.

You hold back on treating yourself because deep down, you just don’t know whether you really matter.
It is not a thought you consciously hold.
But it is there nonetheless.

AM I WORTHY OF A GREAT LIFE?
OR DO I STRUGGLE THROUGH EACH DAY UNTIL I DIE?
Thoughts you do not voice.
