Let Them Smirk

They may belittle you.

Smirk when you mention your dreams.

Tell you to stop living in la-la land and join them in the ‘real’ world where dreams do not come true.

They may even lovingly try to lead you away from your vision.

They try to ‘love’ you into giving up.

They try to protect you from your own desires.

They mean well but they are simply a distraction.

Despite all that, you get to choose.

You are the only one that determines your life.

You are powerful enough to create whatever you choose to.

Let them talk.

Let them say what they want.

Let them do whatever.

But do not let them take you off course.

Yes, while the seed is initially planted, it may seem like nothing is happening.

You may wonder when your time will come.

You may even wonder if they are justified in their assumption of your delusion.

And yet, beneath the surface, the seed dies, opens up and lets out the harvest.

One seed can turn into SOOOO MANY MORE.
