Remember Remember REMEMBER Who You Are
One day, you woke up and realised you were living the wrong life…
But you went on doing it because you did not feel you had a choice…
You had played by the rules
Tried hard to win
And yes, you did win some battles but for the most part, here you are, lost and alone in a life that feels so far away from what you thought it would be
And you became consumed by a niggling feeling that this could not be all…
You look around you…
You see everyone else doing the same things you are doing
And you think there must be something you are missing
And so you try even harder…
You stay in the relationship that feels like you need to bury your magic in order to stay with it but you do not want to be alone and so you put up with whatever gets thrown at you…
You stay in the work that kills your soul and your body every day as you tire yourself out doing things you really don’t want to do, for longer and longer each day…
But hey, it pays the bills, right?
You stay in a religion that causes you to question everything, hoping, hoping, HOPING that at some point, it will all work out and the Divine will come through for you and at the very least, you will have avoided hell.
Or you leave it altogether but then because underneath the bravado, you feel guilty for not keeping up the beliefs of your youth, you do not feel worthy of a good life and so you subconsciously self-sabotage but do not even realise you are doing it.
You eat to hide your inner pain
OR you go mad on an exercise plan/diet…
Trying to lose yourself
But you always catch a glimpse of you and you are disappointed…
Deep down disappointed…
THIS CANNOT BE ALL!
There is more to me than this…
There is something I am here to do…
But what? you wonder
And how? you also wonder…
And when? as you are currently pulled from here to there, doing this, doing that but ultimately staying stuck
It starts with immersing yourself in a new way of thinking, being, acting…
It starts with finally surrendering to the knowledge that this current experience of life is simply not enough for you…
