You Are Awakening

You may not know it but the real you has been buried within you, for a very long time.

Buried under years of expectations.

Expectations that others had of you.

Expectations that you tried very hard to meet.

Expectations that you could never meet because they were not you.

They were other people’s definitions of success.

And you have finally begun to come awake to your true design self.

And it feels painful and confusing.

And scary.

You feel the need to back away from all that is familiar.

Relationships that you used to put up with, are now yukky.

The work you used to be able to do, feels even more intensely boring and hateful.

Something has shifted inside of you and you just cannot seem to abide the old things.

But you think you have to.

And so you intensify the pain by holding onto what you no longer want.

And you prolong the drama.

Honey, let yourself go free.

Give up the things that you no longer want.

Do not prolong your pain.
